The more history I read, the more certain I become about the absence of virtue. Nobody is right or wrong. It is just that those who come out on top paint themselves as saints.

When it comes to painting oneself as a saint, the further North you go, the better the people seem to be at it.

If I said Saudi Arabia, the first thought that would come to you would be oil. But if I said Norway, you would not readily think of oil. Norway has the largest Sovereign Wealth Fund at USD 1.2 Trillion. They did not make that money distributing happiness. It was completely on the back of oil.

In fact Norway, Sweden and Finland got rich with oil money. They are the Middle East of the North. But nobody sees them that way. They are just one with nature, happy and enjoying the hot sauna.

The worst oil production atrocity in the world is being carried out by Canada today. Shale oil and gas is quite simply the worst way to produce oil and gas. They were also the originals when it came to residential schools which inflicted atrocities on Native Children. The Americans merely killed and exterminated the Indians. The Canadians taught them that their language was bad and had paedophile priests administer their kids.

Somehow Canadians have managed to paint themselves as such nice people.

Even within America, Texans are seen as complete louts. While the North Easterners in the US are seen as erudite and liberal. All of the decisions to appropriate Indian lands and their extermination were made in the North, not in the South. But they do a marvellous job of painting themselves as nice people.

This is just an observation. I need to find out why?
